Four years ago, Darnell made a bold move. He decided to channel his love for dance and his knack for promotion into a venture of his own. Thus, Repro Dance Promotions was born. Starting with just a couple of dance events, Darnell had a vision for more. He saw the potential of the Tampa Bay Area and believed in its vibrant, diverse community. Fast forward to today, and Repro Dance Promotions has grown beyond anyone's expectations, hosting over twenty dance events throughout the area, each one more legendary than the last. Events such as Beso Del Sol at Hotel Alba, Salsa At The Factory St Pete, Bachata Jungle, The Social at Acropolis South Tampa just to name a few.

Darnell's latest impressive portfolio is Rumba in the Garden at the St. Petersburg Distillery. Anyone familiar with the distillery knows about its gigantic, colorful outdoor patio. It's a vibrant setting that seems to have been designed with Relpro's events in mind, complete with a bar and comfortable, box car-style cabanas. The patio is more than a venue - it's a backdrop for a Sunday afternoon of dance and camaraderie.

The event was a resounding success. Dance enthusiasts from all over Tampa-St Pete area turned up in droves to cut loose and dance the afternoon away. The air was filled with the infectious rhythms of salsa and bachata tunes, and the patio was alive with movement as dancers swayed, twirled, and spun under the blue Florida skies.
